Freegan in Italy?
€ Hundreds of food thrown away every day. In this period of high cost of living figures who feel they are in the pockets of consumers. It is not just a moralistic issue, not a political issue. Abroad, especially in the United States and England, is gaining visibility and importance of the Freegan movement, fighting waste simply by living of what the large retail chains discarded. In fact, the Freegan philosophy is not limited to food, but supports the idea of \u200b\u200brecycling from every point of view. And in Italy? In reality there is a movement established itself as the American one, you can not go to rummage in the garbage looking for food that is still edible. But there are a network of associations, groups that carry out this philosophy. They're called Freecycle, which connects people who want to give away items, computers and old furniture that would otherwise - still good - in the bins. Guerrilla gardening, or who, armed with spades, they fight, to create a public park.
